Mr. Kasymbek Zhenis Makhmuduly
Kasymbek Zhenis Mahmuduly was born in 1975 in Zhambyl region. He graduated from the Kazakh state Academy of architecture and construction with a degree in "architect-designer". In 2001 he graduated from L. N. Gumilev Eurasian state University with a degree in state and local administration. In 2015, the Oxford school for intensive English language training.
He began his career in 1997 as a trainee researcher in Kazgas. From 1998 to 2000 he headed the Department Of the Committee on Antimonopoly policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He worked as the Director Of the Department of water transport of MTK RK.
From 2004 to 2005 he was the Director of RSE "Aktau international commercial sea port".
In November 2005, he was appointed Vice Minister of transport and communications. Then he was Executive Secretary of the Ministry of transport and communications. He later served as Minister of transport and communications.
After that, he worked as Minister of investment and development, Minister of industry and infrastructure development.
From February 25, 2019 to the current appointment he was Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
