Pharmaceutical Company From India Interested in Opening a Plant in the Karaganda Region

The Indian company Tanushree Air Techniques arrived on a visit to Kazakhstan, where representatives of the company met with the Chairman of the Board of JSC “NC “KAZAKH INVEST” Meirzhan Yussupov. At the meeting, the project for the construction of a full-cycle chemical-pharmaceutical plant in the Karaganda region on the territory of the Saran industrial zone was discussed.

It is planned that the implementation of the project in accordance with international GMP standards will lead to the creation of 170 jobs. The products will be supplied to the domestic and nearby markets. The cost of the project will be more than $30 million.

In his speech, the director of Tanushree Air Techniques, Apurvasinh Chavada, spoke about the intention to open a plant for the production of medicines in Kazakhstan, and also assured that in addition to organizing production, the company takes on the responsibility of training Kazakh employees to work with high-tech equipment.


“We have 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in India, have completed more than 140 projects and supply products to many countries around the world. In Kazakhstan, we are planning to implement a project to expand our production chain in the Central Asian region,” said Apurvasinh Chavada.

In response, the Chairman of the Board of the national company informed the partners about the investment potential and measures of support foreign business in the pharmaceutical industry provided by the Government, and also spoke in detail about the activities of KAZAKH INVEST.

During the visit, representatives of Tanushree Air Techniques will visit Karaganda region and IZ "Saran".
