16 investment contracts worth 266 billion tenge signed via elicense.kz
According to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Almas Aidarov, 16 investment contracts worth 266 billion tenge were signed online. He noted that the service has been digitalized and provided through the portal elicense.kz.
As part of the provision of public services, an investor can conclude an investment contract to obtain an in-kind grant and customs preferences as well as priority investment contract with tax and customs benefits.
The online integration of the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, local executive bodies and other related organizations made it possible to reduce delivery of the service from 35 to 27 working days.
«The first service recipient was «KazSolar 50» that implements 26MW renewable energy project worth over 5 billion tenge in Karaganda region in cooperation with the German company «Solarnet Investment GmbH». In slightly over than one month we have already concluded 16 investment contracts», - said Mr. Almas Aidarov.
The investment projects are being implemented in 8 regions of Kazakhstan: West, East and North Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Turkestan, Mangystau regions, as well as in Nur-Sultan and Shymkent.
The projects cover such sectors as agriculture, metallurgy, food and chemical industries, healthcare, education and energy. Investors are businessmen from Kazakhstan, Russia, Germany, the Great Britain and the UAE.
According to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Almas Aidarov, investors mostly apply for the exemptions from customs duties when importing expensive equipment, raw materials and supplies due to the high costs of purchasing modern equipment.
