The project aims to conduct professional development training, including for current healthcare workers, students, representatives of law enforcement agencies, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and transport organizations.

Current project status:

  • A land plot of 2 hectares has been allocated by the Akimat in the administrative and medical center of Turkistan city;
  • The design and estimate documentation (DED) for the project “Construction of a Simulation Center in Turkistan City” has been developed, and a positive expert opinion No. 19-0030/20 dated November 10, 2020, has been obtained;
  • Suppliers of medical simulators and training equipment have been identified: LLP “MedIS & Trading” and LLC “EIDOS”.

Company

LLP “SITCO Group”, the project initiator, has 10 years of experience cooperating with regional educational institutions and medical organizations.

Market Overview

According to WHO estimates, by 2030, the number of healthcare professionals will reach 67.3 million, while the projected global shortage of medical personnel will increase to 15 million, mainly in low-income countries.

In Kazakhstan, the shortage of medical personnel has doubled over the past five years, reaching 23.1 thousand specialists. On average, one general practitioner serves more than 1,200 patients.

Why is the Project Attractive?

  • Growing demand for qualified medical personnel. High workload negatively affects the quality of healthcare services. Between 2021 and 2022, the number of complaints about healthcare workers and medical organizations doubled. Considering the increasing demand for highly qualified professionals, interest in the educational programs offered by the Simulation Center is expected to grow.
  • Modern technologies. To ensure accurate modeling of medical scenarios, the project plans to acquire and utilize state-of-the-art equipment and medical simulators.
  • Well-established partner network. The company’s partners include suppliers of simulation equipment such as Med Mod, General Doctor, 3B Scientific, Gaumard, Meti, Ensym, and EIDOS.
