In the spring of 2022, it is planned to start construction of a private modern school for 700 students in Karaganda. A new educational institution will be built in the South-East, in the Taugul microdistrict. The investor will be King Development from Malaysia.

The timing and construction plans were discussed by the akim of the Karaganda region Zhenis Kassymbek and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to the Republic of Kazakhstan Date Syed Mohamad Bakri.

The future school is designed for students from grades zero to 11. Separate buildings will be built - for junior schoolchildren and seniors, a large sports ground. The recreational zone will occupy 50% of the entire territory of the educational complex. The languages ​​of instruction are Kazakh, Russian and English.

- The training will take place according to the Finnish method. This is not a standard training system, it is more aimed at developing critical thinking, ”said Chingis Akhanov, deputy general director of King Development LLP. - Local teachers will teach. They will be trained by Singaporean and Finnish specialists. We have big plans - we want to build a private school in each regional center.

State grants will be provided for gifted children.

“There is a huge need for schools in Karaganda,” the head of the region noted. - Seven schools are needed in different parts of the city. But we do not have such a segment as you build, so we are ready to provide all kinds of support in the implementation of the project.
