In the Karaganda region, 5.5 thousand business entities will receive financial support this year
Business activity is growing in the Karaganda region. The number of active entrepreneurial entities has exceeded 100 thousand. This year, the launch of ten new productions is expected, creating 3.5 thousand jobs.
Daryn Bulqayyr, the head of the Department of Industry and Industrial-Innovative Development, reported on measures to support and stimulate investment at a staff meeting.
"This year, it is planned to finance 5.5 thousand business entities, including 2.5 thousand new ones. These are projects of subsidization, guarantees, grant financing, and preferential lending. By the end of the year, we plan to ensure over 910 billion tenge of investments in fixed assets, with a growth of 1.5%. We expect the launch of 10 new productions worth 252 billion tenge, creating 3.5 thousand jobs. These enterprises will produce cathode copper, wind energy towers, freight vehicles, steel welded pipes, precast concrete products, galvanized metal products, and other goods," informed Daryn Bulqayyr.
He announced the creation of an investment attractiveness guide for the region. A Telegram bot is also being created for prompt communication with investors. The catalog of regional goods producers is being replenished, which already includes 66 industrial enterprises.
"Attracting investments is a priority for the work of the local executive authority. It is necessary to work on all projects. Each project should be supported on a daily basis," emphasized Akim of the region Yermaganbet Bulekpayev.
In addition to state programs and tools, the regional program "Kasipker" operates to support businesses. Two large industrial sites with ready infrastructure - the SEZ "Saryarka" and the Saran industrial zone - are working to attract investors to the region.
